The One who is One!

Well as Mummy writes this it is the end of a very long day. One of the most important in Jessica's life. The most important being the day she was born- which is exactly one year today- the reason for this post.

Her BIRTHDAY!!!!!!

The morning was a nice start. Jessica woke and was singing in her cot. She woke late (7.45am ish), giving Mummy and Daddy a sleep in (thankyou Jessica!- Mummy).

Then to the important business of the day- Presents!!!
She was spoilt by Mummy and Daddy, and had 3 presents to open. She did not know what to do first.

#1: Princess ride on Car. Its pink, had Cinderella on the front and sings various songs. Jessica found the buttons very quickly. And loves sitting on it.


She has not quite worked out how to ride it as such yet- but she is very quick to learn so it should not be too long (at the moment she can make it go backwards, but not forward).




#2: Peeka-blocks stacking crocodile. The crocodile also makes noise. But she found the blocks more interesting.


#3: Leap-pad counting/alphabet drum. Also a noise maker (what were Mummy and Daddy thinking?). she had loads of fun playing with the drum. It will also help to teach her abc's, count to 10, and follow sound patterns.



PARTY TIME!!!!
Late afternoon was the party.
There were more presents.


Then it was time for the cake.
Daddy helped her to blow out the candle.


She loved eating the cake.





It was cold then, so we went inside and opened more presents.Thankyou everyone for all your generous gifts.
